Sludge volume reduction effect of shaking

While a part of the sludge adheres firmly to the thread, the peripheral part with weak adhesion is partially detached by the oscillation of the thread and water flow. As a result, highly active sludge is newly exposed on the surface, and BOD decomposition takes place and sludge is deposited. By repeating the detachment and deposition in this way, simultaneous detachment does not occur and treatment can be maintained at high efficiency. On the other hand, the amount of sludge generated in the center of the sludge is reduced by the self-digestion of the sludge due to the abundant food chain caused by the long residence time.

Relationship between BOD, S-BOD removal rate and SS conversion rate

Ordinary activated sludge cannot adsorb SS in wastewater, so it is difficult to treat SS, but Biofringe can treat high concentration SS because the surface attached sludge adsorbs SS in wastewater in a short time (0-dimensional adsorption) and then gradually decomposes it. As shown in the figure, when the BOD load is small, the SS conversion rate is about 10%, and as the load increases, the outflow SS increases, but even with a high BOD volumetric load of 7 kg/m3.day, the conversion rate is about 25%, indicating that the SS treatment capacity is high.

Various installation methods are possible
